The Doo Wop Project Releases New Album and Tour Dates
The Doo Wop Project, featuring Broadway veterans Charl Brown, Dwayne Cooper, John Dias, Russell Fischer, and Dominic Nolfi, has launched their latest album, Echoes of the Street. This marks their fifth full-length release, celebrating the essence of doo wop while offering modern interpretations of popular songs. The album, produced by Sonny Paladino under Joy Machine Records, includes 12 tracks that range from R&B classics to beloved musical theater pieces. Notable songs include ?My Girl? by The Temptations, Daft Punk's ?Get Lucky,? and an original track titled ?Ooh Whee (That Doo Wop Song),? written by Elliot Lurie.
To commemorate the album's launch, The Doo Wop Project held a special performance at Sony Hall in New York City on October 7th. They will be touring across North America with a new 90-minute show, also named Echoes of the Street, throughout late 2025. The tour will feature various locations, including Pennsylvania, California, and Florida, among others.
